I recreated the sound first few minutes of Wall-E from scratch to create a different tone. I always remembered that the intro to Wall E has a happy, old-timey song over it while we see destroyed earth but I was curious as to how that place would sound. There's largely no dialogue in the first act of Wall E, yet an effective story is conveyed. I wanted to change the tone a bit to be darker.
