Ontario Place, in its present state, raises compelling questions about the future of public land use in Ontario. Its transformation over time and the stark contrast between past visions and contemporary reality have left many open questions about the future of the park. Conceived as a premier attraction, drawing residents of Ontario and visitors from afar, this iconic destination has witnessed a notable decline since the early 2010s. This experimental documentary strives to explore the intriguing disparity between the ambitious promises and grandeur of Ontario Place during the 1970s and '80s and its current state of disrepair.

Collaborating with Jack DeWolf, we embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the park's abandoned areas, meticulously comparing them, shot by shot, with their original marketing and experiential representation. Through this visual journey, we seek to unearth the transformation that Ontario Place has undergone, offering viewers a unique perspective on the evolution of this once-vibrant attraction and its enduring legacy in the collective memory of Ontarians.
